Master baker Reinh. van Hauen (1864–1937) was friends with the Danish poet and painter Holger Drachmann (1846–1908). Reinh. van Hauen visited Drachmann several times in Skagen and on one occasion the master baker was given this personal gift from him. Thence by descent until today.
