A mallard with ducklings at the lakeshore. Signed with monogram and dated 1916. Oil on canvas. 63×79 cm.
The canvas is relined. Areas with thinner layers of paint/minor peelings. The peelings are caused by Johannes Larsens way of painting where thick layers of paint are applied to rough canvases.
