“PH-3/2 American Table Lamp”. Very rare swivel table lamp with frame, socket and thick switch house of browned brass mrk. “Pat. Appl.”, with opal glass shades. This example manufactured 1928 by Louis Poulsen. H. 30 cm.
Top shade size O-3,5. Literature: “Light Years Ahead”, pp. 152–153. Literature: LP Catalog B 1931–32: “... is especially designed for American desks and come with three holes in the massive base plate for fastening with screws countersunk. Placed on top of U.S. desktop and can, when not in use, be turned toward the wall and when used, to the left over the work area”.
