Queen Louise of Denmark's 18k gold ring, with inscription from King Christian IX “Although absent ever near” (Skønt fraværende altid nær), furthermore engraved “Christian, den 7ten Sept. 1844”. Maker A. Michelsen. Size 51.
Provenance: Descendents of Christian IX and Queen Louise of Denmark until today. The ring was a present from the King to the Queen on her 27th birthday September 7, 1844.
