Three Danish silver covers, mounted on “Blue Fluted” porcelain mugs, comprising a Regence cover, inserted with Caroline Amalie medal, the rim indistinctly marked with Copenhagen hallmarks, c. 1730–1740; fluted cover, inserted with Christian V speciedaler 1695, engraved with owner's initials and date TJSF MCDF 1786. Maker Hans Budtz Sommerfeldt, licensed Aalborg 1761–1800; and cover inserted with medal, gilt interior, engraved with owner's initials AAS KG, leaf-shaped thumbpiece. Copenhagen 1803. Maker's mark AH, presumably Andreas Holm. Porcelain mugs made by The Royal Danish Porcelain Factory, c. 1800. H. incl. thumbpiece 19.5 cm., 20 cm. and 18.3 cm. (3)
