Three Danish silver covers, mounted on “Blue Fluted” porcelain mugs, comprising a Regence cover, inserted with Caroline Amalie medal, the rim indistinctly marked with Copenhagen hallmarks, c. 1730–1740; fluted cover, inserted with Christian V speciedaler 1695, engraved with owner's initials and date TJSF MCDF 1786. Maker Hans Budtz Sommerfeldt, licensed Aalborg 1761–1800; and cover inserted with medal, gilt interior, engraved with owner's initials AAS KG, leaf-shaped thumbpiece. Copenhagen 1803.
