Theodor Philipsen (b. Copenhagen 1840, d. s.p. 1920)
“Fra Saltholms Fælled. Heste og køer ved Gammelgårds brønd. En hvid hest lægger sit hoved over en brun”. Horses and cows by a well. 1880. Inscribed Th. P. Oil on canvas. 41.5×51.5 cm.
The motif is more precisely defined at Saltholm's cemetery from the 19th century, and several tombstones can be seen at the bottom right.
