In the year 1885, J.F. Willumsen visited Samsø, where he was staying with Frands Ferdinand Terkel Lassen and Frederikke (née Von Bülow of Plüskow) at Bisgaard. The portrait consists of their four sons Frederik Christian August Lassen, Carl Julius Herman Lassen, Axel Georg Lassen and Ernst Bülow Lassen. (Oldest to youngest from the left.)
Examined in frame. The paper has turned slightly brown. Minor damp discolouration.
