Literature: “Jais Nielsen - Epos i ler”, CLAY - Keramikmuseum Danmark, ill. and described pp. 108, 114, 162–163. As a sculpture “Pottemageren”/“The Potter”, was presented at Royal Copenhagen's stand at the world fair in Paris, 1925.
Provenance: The sculpture was a gift from Jais Nielsen to the previous owner whom was a relative of Jais Nielsen, thence by descent within the family.
