“Sesostris Grav. Abu Simbel”. Detail from an Eqyptian grave, presumably belonging to Sesostris I, who ruled from 1971 BC -1926 BC. Signed with monogram (hidden by the frame), and inscribed Chr. Hansen on the reverse of the frame. Pencil and watercolour on paper. Sheet size 21,5×30,5 cm.

Condition

Partly coloured. The paper has turned slightly yellow. Mounted at upper corners.
