A Chinese gilt silver, enamel and hardstone mounted box, decorated in blue, turquoise, purple and green, depicting flowers and birds on a woven metal ground. Lid mounted with a waterlily carved in jade. The base stamped “Made in China. Silver” with import mark for Poland. H. 4.5 cm L. 10.5 cm W. 6.5 cm.
Condition
Wear due to age. The hinges somewhat wry.
