A French Louis XVI style rosewood and mahogany marquetry commode, after Jean-Francois Leleu (1729–1807), white marble top above a shallow drawer decorated with foliate gilt bronze mounts, curved sides and front with two large drawers each with gilt bronze borders and mounted with two circular ormolu handles, fluted tapering legs. France, second half of the 19th century. H. 89 cm. W. 150 cm. D. 62 cm.
