The FJ-44 chair is regarded as one the most important chairs from Finn Juhl. Designed and presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition in 1944, the chair marks the begining of Finn Juhl's most fruitful period from 1944–1950. With this chair he first expresses his unique sculptural design language solely in wood.
