CHURCHILL THEME
The First Quebec Conference, codenamed ‘Quadrant’, was a top-secret military conference that took place in the Canadian city of Quebec from August 17–24, 1943. The conference had British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and US President Franklin D. Roosevelt as its main participants. Another meeting on Canadian soil, the Second Quebec Conference, was held between the two men in September 1944.
This is an original b/w silver gelatin press photograph from 1943, which appears with surface scratches and small marks. Corners with surface cracks. One corner with a crease. Back slightly soiled. In addition, general signs of handling.
