Ted Moore (b. South Africa 1914, d. 1987)

A signed colour still photograph of the Scottish actor Sir Sean Connery (1930–2020) in his role as James Bond in the motion picture “Goldfinger” from 1964. Director: Guy Hamilton. Producers: Harry Saltzman/Albert R. Broccoli. Production company: Eon Productions. Distribution: United Artists. Release date (London): September 17, 1964. Photo size: 20×25 cm. Frame size 32×42 cm.

The first two movies - “Dr No” and “From Russia With Love”“ - established the James Bond franchise, but the third one defined it. ”Goldfinger" temporarily moved 007's attention away from SPECTRE to Auric Goldfinger, who plans to irradiate the U.S. gold reserves at Fort Knox, the world's largest, in order to make his own supply more valuable!

Bond's tricked-out Aston Martin db5 - depicted in the present photograph - was introduced in “Goldfinger”.
