A 19th century French burl wood and tortoise shell tabacco box, lid with a gilt copper repuossé plaque of Napoleon, “Napoleon Emperur des Francais et Roi d'Italie”. Made by Gallé. Diam. 8.7 cm.

Condition

Ordinary wear due to age and use. Minimal nick to tortoise shell.
