Kasper Hermann (b. 1989)
Untitled, 2024. Signed K. Hermann. Acrylic on board. Dia. 60 cm.
The Danish artist Kasper Hermann (b. 1989) lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is trained in communication, but today works as a self-taught artist. With his works, Hermann navigates the tension between painting and sculpture, reflecting on existence, belonging and the question of disappearing without leaving a trace. Hermann works in the duality between the unknown and the past, with works that ”petrified” encapsulate physical traces of personal belongings in thick material layers, ready for reinterpretation.
Original condition.
The work is part of a charity auction to benefit “Børns Vilkår” (Children's Rights Denmark). The auction is initiated and curated by “Curated by Jens-Peter Brask”. The artists have generously donated their works. Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers do not charge fees or commission so the total proceeds will go undiminished to Børns Vilkår's important work.
