Matthias Güldencrone var amtmand, i 1736 konferensråd, blwv i 1747 overtog i 1747 efter sin far baroniet Wilhelmsborg og var til sin død Direktør for Collegium Medicum. Han var videnskabeligt interresseret, og det lykkedes ham blandt andet, trods modstand i Kollegiet, at udgive et bind lægevidenskabelige afhandlinger, “Acta Medica”. Udgivelser af andet bind samt en oversættelse af Ovids Metamorphoser var underforberedelse, men blev efter hans død stillet i bero.
Minor peelings. Numerous crackles. A minimal perforation on the right. A mark along the edge of the stretcher. In need of cleaning and tightening.
