Mogens Ballin (b. København 1871, d. Hellerup 1914)

Silver coffee- and tea set with hammered surface and ebony finials and handles. Comprising a teapot, a coffee pot, a creamer, a sugar bowl and a candy bowl. Made and marked by Mogens Ballins Eftf. Total weight 1540 g. H. 7.3–22.5 cm. (5)

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches, marks and dents. Ebony parts loose in joinery, coffee pot's handle with a crack. Candy bowl with extensive wear, irregularities along upper rim and suraface polishing marks to surface.
