Unknown photographer: An original b/w press photograph of George Harrison (1943–2001) and Ringo Starr (b. 1940) arriving at Heathrow Airport from San Francisco on June 19th 1968. Back with description and publication date (June 20th 1968). Photo size 15×20 cm. Frame size 33×43 cm.

George Harrison, who officially had converted to hinduism shortly berfore this photograph was taken, had been in San Francisco in order to participate in the movie “Raga”. The theme was the Indian sitarist Ravi Shankar (1920–2012). The premiere was in November 1971.

Condition

This is an original b/w press photograph from 1968. Back slightly yellowed due to ageing.
