A large Swedish silver casket, of rectangular form, chased and engraved with flowers and foliage, the hinged cover with cartouche with Malmø city prospect in low relief, the front with owner's initials SS in gold flanked by two putti, the sides and back with cartouches with Malmø and Lund city coat of arms and “Håndværkerforening” symbols, raised on four cast leaf scroll supports. The inside with mahogany liner inlaid with monogram in light wood. The reverse engraved “Till Stadsarkitekten Salomon Sörensen, på 60 års-dagen den 29 april 1916, från Byggmästare i Malmö och Lund” (To the City Architect SS on his 60th birthday on April 29th 1916 from contractors in Malmø og Lund).
