Kaare Klint (b. Frederiksberg 1888, d. Copenhagen 1954)
An early and unique games table in oak burl. Square top with two pull-out leaves. Profiles on legs and edges, brass “shoes”. Made by special order 1916–17 by cabinetmaker N.M. Rasmussen, Holbæk. H. 72.5/74 cm. W. 84 cm. L. 84/168 cm.
Provenance: Chamberlain Valdemar Krieger thence by descent in family. Was at the Estruplund Estate until some years ago when it passed to another branch of the direct family than the current owner of Estruplund.
