Born 1947 in Northern Jutland. Originally trained as a confectioner. Opens his first flower shop in his childhood town (Kjellerup) in 1967. 1972–76 flower shop in Viborg, Jutland 1976–87 flower shop at Kongens Nytorv, Copenhagen. 1987 establishing 'Huset Tage Andersen' ('House of Tage Andersen') at Ny Adelgade 12, Copenhagen. This included a shop as well as exhibition and studio areas.
