Nanna Ditzel (b. Copenhagen 1923, d. s.p. 2005)
Easy chair in rare version with Brazilian rosewood frame mounted on tapering legs. Seat, back and sides of woven cane made by R Wengler. Original cushion with red checquered wool included. Designed 1950. This example made 1950s by cabinetmaker Ludvig Pontoppidan.
Provenance: Ludvig Pontoppidans nephew, thence by descent in the family.
