Stoneware vase modelled with vertical fluted pattern. Decorated with grey and green glaze with ochre elements. Signed Salto 1932. Made at Nathalie Krebs' workshop; Saxbo. H. 32 cm.
Provenance: Danish private collection. Original owner’s family.
The fluted style saw the light of day while Salto was still associated at Carl Halier’s workshop and Saxbo, hence it is characteristic for many of Salto’s early works.
