Small wall mounted tambour cabinet of maple and a pair of wall mounted book shelves of elm. Unique. Designed and made approx. 1933–1940 by cabinetmaker Gustav Bertelsen. Cabinet: H. 39.5 cm. W. 60 cm. D. 13.5 cm. Shelves: H. 37 cm. W. 46 cm. D. 6.5 cm. (3)
Designed and made specifically for Tove & Edvard Kindt-Larsen's summer house “Kufferthuset” (The Suitcase House) in Hornbæk, which was built 1933.
Provenance: Tove & Edvard Kindt-Larsen, hence descended to present owner in 1982. “Kufferthuset” has ever only had these two owners.
