Apeiron

Apeiron: Unique, costum-made book box decorated with green, black, red, and gold leather in the shape of a face and the book title “Le Livre des Masques”. Edges of black leather and suede. Lined with black suede. Minor wear due to age and use. Measurements app. H. 21 x W. 16 x D. 5.5 cm. Housed in box: Remy de Gourmont: Le Livre des Masques. Paris 1896. Bound in half cloth with orig. wrapper. Signed “Ballin” (Mogens Ballin, former owner). With signs of wear due to age and use.

Apeiron was founded by the German couple Cornelia and Florian Lamprecht. They based their work on a fusion between art, architecture and fashion in the 1980's. Today, the brand is run by their daughter, Flavia Lamprecht.
