Anders Nevalainen, Fabergé (, St. Petersburg 1898-1903)

A Russian silver-mounted nephrite and satinated glass gaming set, comprising fourteen jetons and four dampners. Carl Fabergé, workmaster Anders Nevalainen, assayer Jacob Nicolaevich Liapunov in St. Petersburg 1898–1903, 88 standard. Diam. jetons 2.6 cm. L. dampners 6 cm. In an original fitted Fabergé box, lid applied with the Russian word “Tetka” in silver. (19).

It is presumed that the gaming set is connected to the card game “Tetka”, which means aunt in Russian.
