In the late summer of 1969 the Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin became the first humans to walk on the surface of the Moon, whereas the third member of the crew, Michael Collins, had to remain in the command module.
This is an original NASA colour offset photograph from the late summer of 1969. Edges have yellowed slightly. Furthermore normal signs of handling.
