A 19th century Greek style pottery vase decorated in red-figure technique. H. 37 cm. Enclosed wooden wall console carved with acanthus leaf. Console H. 28. W. 22. D. 22.5 cm. (2)

Condition

Repair to foot, the vase has been reinforced with bolt, chip and remain of glue to foot. Two hairline cracks in the glaze. Peelings to body. Console with remains of paint, mostly at the reverse, marks and scratches at top.
