Villy Sørensen (b. Nordenbro, langeland 1910, d. Odense 1977)

Easy chair with oak frame, seat and floating curved back with yellow wool. Made by cabinetmaker Villy Sørensen. 1950s.

Provenance: The family of cabinetmaker Villy Sørensen.

Villy Sørensen was apprenticed as a cabinetmaker by Frederik Stærmose in 1930 and admitted to Odense Snedkerlaug in 1958.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Marks and scratches. Upholstery with several defects and holes. Back with loose joint/break.
