A large Chinese baluster porcelain jar decorated in underglaze blue with intertwining lotus scrolls. At the shoulders Buddhist symbols, beneath the lotus scrolls a stylized border. Handles flanking the vessel. Reduced neck. Marked Qianlong and of the period 1736–1795. H. 46 cm. Rich carved wooden stand incl.
