From the Roman Campagna. “Ligesaa langt fra at være færdig, som jeg er fra at have seet det deilige Rom”. Signed with monogram and dated 1846. Watercolour on paper laid on paper. Sheet size 17×27 cm.

The paper has turned slightly brown. Damp discolourations and minor superficial scratches. Cropped.
