A composite 16th century iron hilted short sword with curved quillon with a hilt of Normans type 2 and a pointed oval pommel of type 32. The hilt is wrapped in leather and the c. 73,5 cm. long tapering blade of diamond cross section has a pronounced middle rib. Total length c. 90 cm.
Condition
All iron rust marked.
