A good, boxed Whitney navy revolver number 20465. The number can be found beneath the trigger guard, on the back of the cylinder and on the underside of the c 19,6 cm long octagonal barrel in calibre 36. The barrel is marked E. WHITNEY N. HAVEN in two lines. The cylinder scene is a shield of which half of it being the US Stars & Stripes and half being the English Coat of Arms. In the most likely not original box, an Austrian Kriegs Marine Colt powder flask marked KM 32, a bullet mould marked COLTS PATENT, a brass cleaning rod, two brass tins and a glass flask for oil.
Some original colour remaining, the cylinder scene weak, mechanically tight and precise.
