A large plaster figure, “Dying Niobid”, full size. C. 1920. H. 150 cm.

This figure was bought in the 1930s in Berlin. Original of marble from c. 440 BC exhibited at the Palazzo Massimo in Rome.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Patina. Minor cracks. Refusal on the back hand.
