Chest of drawer of mahogany. Curved front with four drawers and brass handles. Made by cabinetmaker A.J. Iversen. H. 83 cm. W. 106 cm. D. 61 cm.

Provenance: ”House of Danske Bank” Antiques, art and design from Erichsen’s House and other historic buildings of Holmens Kanal, Copenhagen.

The model is originally a chest of drawers from England approx. 1780 which is at the Museum of Art and Industry. The chest of drawers was measured by Ole Wanscher together with many other types of furniture from this period. Made by master cabinetmaker A.J. Iversen as a copy in collaboration with Ole Wanscher.
