A stoneware sculpture. Modelled in the shape of a picador at his horse and a bull. Decorated with brown, reddish brown, grey, bluish green and blue glaze. Signed R. Gauguin 1935. Made and signed by Bing & Grøndahl, Made in Denmark. H. 44.5 cm. L. 42 cm.
A few minor chips along the foot rim. Cracks on base originating from the firing process. Examined with UV light.
