Karl Hansen Reistrup (b. Valby 1863, d. Copenhagen 1929)

Circular earthenware dish modelled with underwater motif in the shape of two codfish. Decorated with brown, green, greyish violet and blue glaze. Underside with light bluish grey glaze. Signed HAK. Made by Kähler. H. 5 cm. Diam. 33.5 cm.

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Some peelings in glaze along the rim.
