A Chinese gilt bronze and partly repoussé figure of Amitayus, seated on a throne in dhyanasana, hands in lap with a now missing nectarvase, mandorla backing the throne, possibly not original, front with inscription: Made in Qianlong Gengyin year (1770). Weight 1026 g. H. 20 cm.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Dents on forehead and crown, on foot, back of head and front cover, minor cracks. 18/s5: Also dent on shoulder.
