A Danish silver “Cherub” beaker, of tapering form, the top rim engraved with strapwork, the mid part engraved with owner's initials and date IISB GED 1725 flanked by foliate sprays, the lower part applied with corded band adorned with three cast winged cherub heads, domed profiled base. Maker Jens Jacobsen Hoff, Copenhagen 1725. Weight 172 g. H. 12.5 cm.
