Kirsten Høm (b. Frederiksberg 1906, d. 2003)

Kirsten Høm was educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. During her student years, she took several trips abroad, including Paris, which was a favourite city for inspiration among several female artists of her generation. She is known for her portraits, which were often commissioned work. Høm also painted landscapes from Bornholm, where she often stayed. For a period of time she was married to the painter Paul Høm.

Condition

In need of a light surface cleaning. To dents. Minor peelings.
