The moon landing of July 20th 1969 was an incredible technical acchievement and the first manned mission that reached one of the approx. 170 moons in our solar system. On July 20th at 21:56 (Houston time) Neil Armstrong (1930–2012), leader of the expedition, set his foot on the surface. Everybody with access to a tv - from the Pope in Rome to the farm worker in India - kept staring at the screen that night.
This is an original NASA colour offset print from the summer of 1969. The print shows normal signs of handling.
