Chi Pai-Shih/Qi Baishi (1864–1957) was a renowned Chinese painter. He had a large variety of motifs. Qi Baishi is particularly known for painting crayfish of which the present book has one fine example.
Baishi was a member of the Danish artist association Corner and exhibited with them in 1951.
