A unique dining table of elm, “shoes” of Cuban mahogany. Top and fold-down leaves with original red Duco lacquer. Designed and made approx. 1933–1940 by cabinetmaker Gustav Bertelsen. H. 72 cm. W. 70 cm. L. 119/179/239 cm.

Designed and made specifically for Tove & Edvard Kindt-Larsen's summer house “Kufferthuset” (The Suitcase House) in Hornbæk, which was built 1933.

Provenance: Tove & Edvard Kindt-Larsen, hence descended to present owner in 1982. “Kufferthuset” has ever only had these two owners.
