Hans J. Wegner (b. Tønder 1914, d. Gentofte 2007)

“Papa Bear Chair”. Easy chair with legs and “nails” of oak. Seat, armrests, back fitted with buttons and seat cushion upholstered with grey wool fabric. Model AP 19. Designed 1951. Manufactured by AP Stolen.

Model presented at the exhibition “Tidens Møbler” in Forum 1952.

Condition

Good condition with minimal patina. Recently professionally reupholstered. Legs and nails with few minor scratches and marks.
