“Monk”. A pair of easy chairs with oblique beech legs and frame. Sides, back and loose seat cushion upholstered with blue wool, back fitted with buttons. These examples manufactured approx. 1950s by Keravan Puusepäntehdas/Stockmann Oy, Finland. H. 105 cm. W. 83 cm. D. 89 cm. (2)

Condition

Frames with surface marks and scratches, old nicks and bruises. Reupholstered and fabric in good condition, one chair with minor stain in back close to seat cushion. One chair's frame with traces of glue underneath seat and chips in wood.
