Autograph manuscript signed by H.C. Andersen. Entitled “Januar-Maaned” (“January”). Cph, c. 1832. 4 pages.

The manuscript is probably a study for the poem/prologue “Januar-Maaned” which was printed in the review “Aarets Maaneder tegnede med Blæk og Pen” (The Months of the year drawn in pen and ink), December 1832. Andersen dedicated the work for king Frederik VI and presented it to him in person.
