A Chinese gilt bronze figure of Tsongkapa, seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus throne, hands in the dharmachakra mudra. Dressed in a richly pleated robe with floral borders, shoulders flanked by lotus flowers whereupon a sword and a book, wearing a pointed hat with bands falling on his shoulders. 18th-19th century. Weight 1870 gr. H. 21 cm.
