Hovedstadshistorie.dk skriver: Omkring 1700 blev der oprettet et traktørsted ved Strandvejen, der i midten af 1700-tallet blev drevet af en mand ved navn Jørgen Klampe. Traktørstedet fik det lidt spøgefulde navn Klampenborg og gav siden navn til hele bydelen, der efterhånden voksede frem i området syd for Dyrehaven.

Condition

The canvas is relined. Minor crackles and retouches. A scratch on the left. In need of a light surface cleaning.
