A Danish parcel-gilt silver “hovedvandsæg” vinaigrette in the shape of a fish, of the Haderslev-type, movable body with scales, the hinged head with gilt interior, red glass eyes and small hinged mouth compartment, pricked with owner's initials and date J.N.J. K.J. Kobr. 1832. Apparently unmarked. Weight 73 g. L. 10.6 cm. Original fitted black leather case and an oval silver box adorned with roset. The box reverse pricked with owner's name and date J.N. Johansen Körbroe 1832. Maker Johan J.H. Rühle, established in Ribe 1829–1858. Ribe town mark. L. 12 cm.
